Loose Your Purpose!

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” Romans 8:18 (LSB) 

When you release your Egypt, you will experience freedom. When you have travailed in your wilderness, you will have come to the place where you no longer desire the remnants from your past. When there is no pleasure in what used to warm your heart, you will begin to seek knowledge. When there is no joy in the activities of yesterday, you will yearn for divine purpose. When what used to nourish your body and feed your soul ceases to fill you, you will begin to experience understanding. When promises from smooth lips sound like an empty wagon traveling on a rocky road, you will seek the peace that surpasses all understanding. When a worm pops up in what used to be the apple of your eye, your attention should go to our Father in heaven. When a bawdy song that would have caused you to stomp your feet and clap your hands now speaks of perversion and cringes your very spirit, you are being convicted by Holy Spirit. 

THEN, AND ONLY THEN! 

When worldly counsel and secular advice cease to resonate in your ears, you will know discernment. When it may be said: “Well, if it were me..,” fails to drive you to confront someone espousing lies about you, you will walk in temperance. When no pill from the doctor dulls the pain, you are walking in truth. When no resolution is found at the bottom of a bottle, you will recognize honesty. When no peace is felt after you have given your body away, you will seek grace. When buying another car or going on another cruise or buying another piece of jewelry does not ease the inner ache, you will seek for Him like hidden treasure. When stepping into someone else’s relationship or abandoning your marriage brings no lasting peace, you will seek the love of God that never fails. When all that you try to accomplish by the might of your hands slips through your fingers like sand, the scales will fall from your eyes. 

THEN, AND ONLY THEN! 

When will you seek wisdom to be found in the Word of God? When will you lean on His understanding? When will you abide in His perfect will? When will you long for His redemptive love? When will you submit to His authority and His majesty? When will you answer the call which has been placed on your life before the foundations of this world were created and all that is in it? 

THEN, AND ONLY THEN! 

It is then and only then, you will seek God’s face. It is then and only then, you will seek His grace. It is then and only then, you will fall on your knees seeking the anointed Word of God. It is then and only then, His protection will encompass all about you. It is then and only then, your heart and mind will be transformed by His healing mercies. It is then and only then, you will know peace that surpasses all understanding, unblemished joy, sustained love, lasting forgiveness, true healing, dunamis power, and to walk in the glory of our Father in heaven!
